There are three ways to remove data from Chirio, depending on how much you want gone. All of them are free and none of them require you to explain yourself.
In the Chirio dashboard, open your connected accounts and choose Disconnect on the account you want removed.
This deletes that account's stored access tokens immediately and permanently. Chirio can no longer publish to it or read anything about it.
You can also revoke Chirio from the platform's own settings, without visiting Chirio at all:
When you do this, the platform notifies Chirio automatically and we delete the connected account and its stored tokens. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to log in to Chirio for it to take effect.
If the platform gives you a confirmation code for the deletion request, you can
check its status at chirio.dev/data-deletion/<your code>.
Email support@dopler.app from the email address on your Chirio account and ask us to delete it.
We will delete your account, every connected social account and its tokens, your API keys, and your publishing history within 30 days. This is also the route to request deletion of any data Chirio obtained from Meta (Instagram, Threads), X or LinkedIn.
You do not need to use this form of words — "please delete my account" is enough. We will confirm by email once it is done.
| Action | Access tokens | Publishing history | Account and API keys | |---|---|---|---| | Disconnect one account | Deleted immediately | Kept | Kept | | Remove Chirio on the platform | Deleted automatically | Kept | Kept | | Email us to delete everything | Deleted | Deleted | Deleted |
Chirio never stores your social media password, so there is no password to delete — the platforms handle your credentials and only ever issue us a token.
If the GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Use the same address — support@dopler.app — and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
